Guenther Steiner has provided insight into his exit from Haas.

The Formula 1 off-season kicked off with the surprising departure of the team principal at Haas. It was revealed that Gene Haas, the team owner, decided not to have Gunther Steiner as their team principal.

Although both individuals were present in the paddock during the F1 Bahrain Grand Prix, Steiner mentioned that they did not cross paths or have any conversations.

Gunther told Sky sports, “Obviously I don’t own the team. I can’t make these decisions. I haven’t got the money.”

“Obviously he didn’t like what I had to say.”

“Therefore my contract wasn’t extended. I was okay with it.”
